Formed in 2017 as a solo studio project by singer-songwriter Patrick Kapp, the group has expanded to feature Colin Mercer (bass) and Owen Hemming (keys).
Midwestern Dirt has put out four LPs and two EPs on Nantasket Records
MD has performed all over Chicago, including Subterranean, Golden Dagger, Martyrs’ and many more.
Musical influences include Radiohead, Alvvays, Deerhunter, Pavement, Angel Olsen + more
